Notes: Tons of Religion Without an Ounce of Salvation

Many people have tons of religion without an ounce of salvation.
Romans 10:4 NKJV
[4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
The work of redemption was finished with Jesus on the cross.
If you add to the Gospel, you actually subtract from it.
The Gospel is plain and simple truth.
The Gospel is received by faith.
Divine sovereignty does not remove human responsibility.
If Christ has not risen then our faith is in vain.
Every time we mention God we become theologians, the only question is if we are going to be good ones or bad ones.
The Gospel is for everyone.
The worst form of human badness is when human goodness becomes a substitute for faith.
Isaiah 28:16 NKJV
[16] Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.
Deuteronomy 30:10 NKJV
[10] if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Joel 2:32 NKJV
[32] And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.
The Gospel must be shared.
Romans 10:14 NKJV
[14] How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
We must never allow our theology to rob us of our responsibility!
Romans 10:21 NKJV
[21] But to Israel he says: "All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people."
Revelation 22:17 NKJV
[17] And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
God does not want you to try harder, He wants you to trust Him deeper.
