Speaking of how to
keep your heart pure, for me that means joe to walk it the steps of the Lord.
Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
Keep your heart with all
diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
To "keep" your heart is
like keeping your garden.
Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Finally, brethren, whatever
things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever
things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good
report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate
on these things.
These are the things you need to
focus on.
Ephesians 3:14-19 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] from whom the whole family in heaven
and earth is named, [16] that He would grant you, according to the riches of
His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
[17] that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted
and grounded in love, [18] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what
is the width and length and depth and height- [19] to know the love of Christ
which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Dwell means to settle down in
you, take over you. Like when a family member takes over your house when they
visit.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things
have become new.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
For I know the thoughts that I
think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you
a future and a hope.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
And He said to me, "My grace
is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of
Christ may rest upon me.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)
For the eyes of the LORD run to
and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those
whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from
now on you shall have wars."
