John 1 and Luke 1
The true first Christmas really
starts at the tree in the Garden of Eden.
First Christmas verse:
Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
And I will put enmity between
thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy
head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
John 1:1-5 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the
beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any
thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of
men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it
not.
John 1:14 (KJV)
And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth.
1. Jesus is God
It was total Id without any loss
of id. For he became one of us.
John 17:5 (KJV)
And now, O Father, glorify thou
me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world
was.
2. Jesus became a man
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
For unto us a child is born, unto
us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name
shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
Colossians 1:16-17 (KJV)
For by him were all things
created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things
were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him
all things consist.

John 8:55-57 (KJV)
Yet ye have not known him; but I
know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you:
but I know him, and keep his saying. [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see
my day: and he saw it , and was glad. [57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou
art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Luke 24:27 (KJV)
And beginning at Moses and all
the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things
concerning himself.
Genesis 22:1-2,7 (KJV)
And it came to pass after these
things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said,
Behold, here I am . [2] And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac,
whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for
a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. [7] And
Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am
I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for
a burnt offering?
Genesis 32:24-30 (KJV)
And Jacob was left alone; and
there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. [25] And when he
saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and
the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. [26] And
he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go,
except thou bless me. [27] And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said,
Jacob. [28] And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel:
for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. [29]
And Jacob asked him , and said, Tell me , I pray thee, thy name. And he said,
Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
[30] And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to
face, and my life is preserved.
John 4:12-13 (KJV)
Art thou greater than our father
Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and
his cattle? [13] Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this
water shall thirst again:
Judges 13:2-3 (KJV)
And there was a certain man of
Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was
barren, and bare not. [3] And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman,
and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt
conceive, and bear a son.
Judges 13:7 (KJV)
But he said unto me, Behold, thou
shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither
eat any unclean thing : for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb
to the day of his death.
Luke 1:26-38 (KJV)
And in the sixth month the angel
Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, [27] To a
virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the
virgin's name was Mary. [28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou
that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
[29] And when she saw him , she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her
mind what manner of salutation this should be. [30] And the angel said unto
her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. [31] And, behold,
thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name
JESUS. [32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and
the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: [33] And he
shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be
no end. [34] Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know
not a man? [35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall
come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore
also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of
God. [36] And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in
her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. [37]
For with God nothing shall be impossible. [38] And Mary said, Behold the
handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel
departed from her.
1 Corinthians 1:26-27 (KJV)
For ye see your calling,
brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many
noble, are called : [27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to
confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound
the things which are mighty;

fence post you know he didn't get there by himself."
